We consider the scattering problem for the generalized Korteweg-de Vries (gKdV) equation which is a generalization of notable Korteweg-de Vries equation. We begin with the scattering problem for (gKdV) with small initial data. Then we move on the construction of a minimal non-scattering solution to (gKdV).
